Portrait — Sugar Loaf, NY

The Story

Trained in the tradition,
devoted to the moment.

Erin's relationship with the stage began early — first as a young performer in school musicals, then as a serious student of voice and dramatic interpretation. Over two decades of performance work, she has built a versatile career grounded in truthful storytelling and a deep respect for the music itself.

Her credits include leading roles in regional productions of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, John Cariani's Love/Sick, and the rarely-staged Drood ensemble work The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Her concert work — from anthem performances at minor league games to evenings of Broadway and rock standards — reflects a singer comfortable in many idioms.

Alongside her performance career, Erin maintains an active teaching studio, working with singers from late-elementary age through adult professionals. She approaches every voice as singular: there is no one technique, no single sound. There is only the work of helping a singer find what is already, distinctly, theirs.

"The role isn't a costume you put on. It's a question you carry with you until the curtain comes down."
